Ron,
This is Pat Callahan. When can I expect the bass mount that I
gave you
to be done. I forgot to get an estimate from you while Chuck Bricking
and I
were there. I personally had a very good time fishing with your
service and
would consider returning or recommending your service to co-workers.
It was
hard to go home w/o a ten pounder but that 6.6 lb'er is the largest
Lg. Mouth
bass I've ever caught. Please give my regards to your guide.
Pat

Ron,
This was
the best trip so far. We caught probably 20 fish on the first
day, three of the in the 4-5 pound range. The second day we caught
8-10 and Bill caught the biggest on that day it was 27 inches
and probably 6-61/2 pounds. The last day we landed 12-15 and the
largest one was close to 5 pounds. Our guides were top-notch and
when we come back, which we will, we would like you to hook us
up with one of these two guys again.
Bill took
some pictures with his digital camera and he has promised to send
both of us some pictures. We also took a video of the boat ride,
which turned out to be very cool. He can save the information
to DVD, and send you a copy.
Thanks,
Andy Pitman

Hi Cap'n
Ron,
We had a great time and both guides were great. We caught 6 bass
and a mudfish on Sat. and I believe 8 bass, 1 mudfish, and 1 soft
shell turtle
on Sun. The only fish of any size other than the mudfish were
2 that Maria
caught on Sat. One went about 6 pounds and the other about 6
1/2 pounds which brings me to my big problem. We took pictures
of the fish
but the film got exposed going through the x-ray at the airport
so we have
no photos. The guide took pictures of Maria's fish with his camera
but I have
no way of getting a hold of him to see if we could have the negative
or pay
for copies or whatever. Hopefully you can help us out!
Sincerely yours,
Kevin Solloway

Hi Cap'n
Ron,
The fishing
trip was fantastic!! Our Guide was a pure pleasure
to spend time with. He went out of his way to put us on fish.
The
weather was working against us, and we missed more fish than we
boated (damn Yankee beginners, anyway, huh!!). Each of us had
a shot at
the Monster Bass we were after, and in turn we each blew it!!!
I caught
59 bass, 3 Dogfish and one pop cooler!!! The largest bass was
6
pounds 3 ounces. My brother Roy caught one 5 pound 12 ounces.
The
rest ranged between 2 and 4 pounds. A good number of them in the
four
pound range.
I'll send
you some pictures if we ever get time to get them in for
developing. Our jobs and families have kept us hoppin' since arriving
back home!!
Tell your
guide, "Hello" for us!! He was terrific!!!
Look forward
to returning someday to find that 10+ pounder!!!!

We had a
great trip. Both John Barnes and Stan were our guides and we enjoyed
being with them. They were very helpful. During the three days
we caught approximately 75 to 80 fish. We missed a lot of good
hits also. The guides helped us learn how to use shiners to catch
the bass. It requires definitely a different technique than is
used with lures. Our fish ranged from 1 to 6 pounds. The majority
of the fish we caught were in the 2 to 3 pound range. The time
flew while we out fishing and we plan to come back next spring
to do it again.

Hi Ron!
I just wanted
to write you to thank you for such a great time fishing Lake
Okeechobee. Although I wasn't lucky enough to land the "big
one," Pat and I
managed to catch 120 bass, ten of which were over four pounds!
In addition,
we both managed to catch our "biggest bass" ever! So,
even though we weren't
fortunate enough to land the "lunker" of our dreams,
the trip was a great
success!!!
I would
like to commend our guide, John Sharp, for a great job! He worked
very hard the entire trip and did everything he could to get us
a "trophy
bass." He was a lot of fun to fish with and he taught me
a lot about how to
fish for bass on Lake Okeechobee. Please thank him for me again
the next
time you see him (assuming he doesn't get lost on the lake somewhere!
LOL).
I will make
it a point to recommend your guide service to all of my friends!!
Hope to fish with you again in the near future, so be sure to
save a couple
of ten pounders for me!!!
Sincerely,
Chuck Bricking

Hello Ron,
My wife, Susan and I had a great morning of fishing (3/6/00).
We caught 7 bass in the 2 - 2 3/4 lb. range. The lake is very
beautiful. Our guide really knows where to put your clients. He
is good and patient, as we had never fished for bass with wild
shiners, ain't no telling how big the ones were that got away.
We just might come back when we have more time and find out. Thanks
for hooking us up with him and for making such a nice morning
happen.
