I have put together some February
2006 Florida bass fishing reports of Florida bass that were caught
while wild shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee by anglers from
across the United States. Our Florida bass fishing reports are
also cataloged under each month they were caught during the 2006,
2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1998 calendar years.
A fishing report on amount of bass caught, area caught on Lake
Okeechobee and other information is listed with each Florida
bass fishing report. To ensure validity the angler's name, address
and e-mail address is also listed with every fishing report.
E-mail testimonials received from our clients are also posted
just as we receive them.

Bass - February 27, 28 & March 1, 2006 Fishing Report

anglers Mr. & Mrs. Diane Kathmann (West Harrison, IN - e-mail:
dfkath@yahoo.com) caught and released 101 bass that included a 8 lb,
6 lb & 5 lb'er
during 1 afternoon half day, 1 full day and a morning haft day
of shiner fishing on February 27 & 28 & March 1st, 2006
with Ron's Guide Service. Diane caught all of the trophy bass.
They fished the Moonshine area of Lake Okeechobee.

Ron - I just got home and I have to thank you for providing the
guiding service and Ray my guide for knowing a "honey hole"
and giving me a spectacular fishing experience. This was my first
occasion fishing for bass with live shiners, and with Rays' guidance
I landed 20 bass the first afternoon and 24 bass the next morning.
I probably lost an equal amount before learning the technique.
On many occasions I would have two fish on different rods and
there was pandemonium on board. The picture enclosed is of one
of those times when I landed two bass in succession. See you
next year.

caption on your “brag’n board” for February 11th
and 12th of 2006 is incorrect. The caption says “Nick Blackwell
and his son Brad” but it should read “Bill Teat and
his son Matt”. I hate to take the credit for Bill’s
big fish (and I’m much better looking!)
We

The guide Captain Ray is holding a 8 lb. bass that he netted which had a huge panfish
stuck in it's mouth. After freeing the panfish from the bass's
mouth the throphy bass was revided and released. They fished
