I have put together some December 2000 Florida bass fishing reports of Florida bass that were caught while wild shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee by anglers from across the United States. Our Florida bass fishing reports are also cataloged under each month they were caught during the 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1998 calendar years. A fishing report on amount of bass caught, area caught on Lake Okeechobee and other information is listed with each Florida bass fishing report. To ensure validity the angler's name, address, phone number and e-mail address is also listed with every fishing report.

Florida Bass Fishing Report: December 20, 2000

Florida bass fisherman Steve Carter (Denver, NC - ph: 704-483-2430) caught and released about 10 bass up to 5 lbs during 1 day of wild shiner fishing on December 20, 2000. Bass were caught in the Harney Pond canal area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Bass Fishing Report: December 18 & 19, 2000

Florida bass fishing angler Joe Jordan (Columbus, OH - e-mail: FishnLegend@aol.com) who has a tackle and bait store in Columbus Ohio (ph: 614-261-0049) caught and released about 55 bass up to 6 1/2 lbs during 2 days of fishing with artificial lures on December 18 & 19, 2000. Bass were caught in the Harney Pond canal area of Lake Okeechobee.

Captain Ron,

I caught approximately 12-15 the first morning and about 8 the first
evening. The second day I caught about 7 or 8 in the morning but the second
evening probably caught about 25. So I estimate about 55 fish for the two
days. The two biggest fish were 6.5 lbs and 4.5lbs.
I had a great time and enjoyed the experience. Chris is a first rate
guide.
I think the cold mornings we had really turned the fish on.

Florida Bass Fishing Report: December 14 & 15, 2000

Florida bass fishing father Kevin Wobrock and 11 year-old son Trevor (Wheaton, IL - e-mail: griseum@msn.com) caught and released 25 bass that included a 5 lb. and 5 1/2 lb bass during 2 half days of wild shiner fishing on December 14 & 15, 2000. Trevor caught the 5 1/2 lb'er while his dad landed the 5 lb'er. Bass were caught in the Harney Pond canal area of Lake Okeechobee.

Canada ph: 416-488-1326) caught and released about 10 bass up to 4 lbs during a half day of wild shiner fishing on December 14, 2000. Bass were caught in the Harney Pond canal area of Lake Okeechobee.

Carmen Sarge and Bob Bell (Fort Thomas, KY - e-mail: crsarge@aol.com) caught and released about 20 bass up to 6 lbs during 2 half days of wild shiner fishing on December 12 & 13, 2000. Carmen caught the 6 lb'er. Bass were caught in the Harney Pond canal area of Lake Okeechobee.

The trip was not what I expected because of the low water level but the
