I have put together some August 2006 Florida bass fishing reports of Florida bass that were caught while wild shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee by anglers from across the United States. Our Florida bass fishing reports are also cataloged under each month they were caught during the 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002. 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1998 calendar years. A fishing report on amount of bass caught, area caught on Lake Okeechobee and other information is listed with each Florida bass fishing report. Florida Bass Fishing Report - August 9 & 10, 2006 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Eric Swiatkowski (New Carlisle, IN - e-mail: venisonhunter1@aol.com) and 2 other anglers caught and released about 12 bass up to 4 lbs during 2 half days of shiner fishing with Captain Ron on August 9 & 10, 2006. They fished the Harney Pond Canal areas of Lake Okeechobee. They also combined a morning of wild boar hunting with Ron's Guide Service on August 11th. They each bagged a wild hog plus a trophy wild boar was taken in the sugar cane fields in the town of Lakeport.
