August 2005

I have put together some August 2005 Florida bass fishing reports of Florida bass that were caught while wild shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee by anglers from across the United States. Our Florida bass fishing reports are also cataloged under each month they were caught during the 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002. 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1998 calendar years. A fishing report on amount of bass caught, area caught on Lake Okeechobee and other information is listed with each Florida bass fishing report. To ensure validity the angler's name, address, phone number and e-mail address is also listed with every fishing report.

Florida Bass Fishing Report - August 28, 2005 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Nick Dalasio & his 12 year-old son Alex (King Of Prussia, PA - e-mail: nickdalasio@msn.com) caught and released 16 bass up to 5 lbs during 1 day of wild shiner fishing with Captain Ron on August 28, 2005. They fished the Harney Pond Canal areas of Lake Okeechobee. This father and son team also combined a morning of wild boar hunting with Ron's Guide Service on August 29th. Nick bagged a wild sow hog while his son Alex got a wild boar hog. They both used a 357 handgun. Wild hogs were taken in the sugar cane fields in the town of Lakeport.

Florida Bass & Bluegill Fishing Report - August 27, 2005 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Darrell Forte, Bill & 11 year-old Bill Jr. (Plantation, FL - e-mail: darrell@darrellforte.com) caught and released 12 bass that included a 7 lb., 5 lb. & 4 1/2 lb'er and 27 bluegills during 1 day of bass fishing with wild shiner and bluegill fishing with Captain Ron on August 27, 2005. Bill Jr. caught all of the above noted big bass and most of the bluegills. They fished the Harney Pond Canal areas of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Bass Fishing Report - August 18 & 19, 2005 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Gabe Boyett (Marianna, FL - e-mail: gcb1@wfeca.net) and Brian caught and released 31 bass up to 5 lbs during 2 half day mornings of wild shiner fishing with Captain Ron on August 18 & 19, 2005. They fished the Monkey Box and Harney Pond Canal areas of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Bass Fishing Report - August 15 & 16, 2005 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Seth Rector (Macon, MO - e-mail: cdb48170@cmsu.edu) and another angler caught and released 18 bass up to 4 lbs during 2 half days of wild shiner fishing with Captain Ron on August 15 & 16, 2005. They fished the Monkey Box and Harney Pond Canal areas of Lake Okeechobee.
