Florida Bass Fishing - April 26, 2004 Fishing Report

Florida bass fishing anglers Bill Chaffin and his son John (Royal Palm beach, FL - e-mail: jchaffin@assaabloyhospitality.com) caught and released 35 bass up to 6 lbs during 1 day of shiner fishing on April 26, 2004 with Ron's Guide Service. John caught and released the 6 lb'er. His dad caught and released a 5 1/2 lb. and a 5 lb'er. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida bass fishing anglers Jeff Hilton and his wife (Durham, NC - e-mail: hilton007@nc.duke.edu) caught and released about 30 bass up to 4 lbs during 1 day of shiner fishing on April 17, 2004 with Ron's Guide Service. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Florida Bass Fishing - April 16, 2004 Fishing Report

Wild boar hunter Jim Kerth (Highlands Ranch, CO - e-mail: jsaakerth@netzero.com) caught and released about 20 bass up to 4 lbs during 1 half day of shiner fishing on April 16, 2004 with Ron's Guide Service. Jim fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee. He also combined a wild boar hunt with his fishing trip and bagged a wild hog during a morning of wild boar hunting with Ron's Guide Service on April 17, 2004. Jim hunted the sugar cane fields in the town of Lakeport.

Florida bass fishing anglers John Motroni (Three Rivers, MA - e-mail: j.motroni@comcast.net) and his son-in-law Mike Lambert (Three Rivers, MA) caught and released 49 bass that included a 8 lb.trophy and a 5 lb'er during 3 days (April 13, 14 & 15, 2004) of shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. Mike caught and released the 8 lb'er. John's biggest was a 5 lb'er which he released. They fished for 3 days under 30 to 45 mph gale force wind conditions. Bass were taken in sheltered cove areas along the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.
