Florida bass fishing angler Geoff Coomes (Maidstone, Kent, England - e-mail: khums@blueyonder.co.uk) caught and released 20 bass up to 5 lbs during 1 day of wild shiner and artificial lure fishing on September 29, 2004 with Ron's Guide Service. Bass were caught on the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

I think that due to us having a bit of a struggle to find fish in the morning (it was baking, no breeze and smooth as silk) made the afternoon session all the more sweeter.

Did Ken tell you that we actually had four fish on at once at one stage?

It really was excellent sport and I will be back for certain.

Florida bass fishing anglers William Palmer (Coral Springs, FL - e-mail: jstecinc@aol.com) and a friend caught and released 17 bass up to 7 lbs during 1 day of wild shiner and artificial lure fishing on September 11, 2004 with Ron's Guide Service. Bill caught the 7 lb'er on a wild shiner. Bass were caught on the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.
