January 31, 2004

Florida bass fishing anglers Wayne & Sandy Mudget (Maplewood, MN - ph: 651-777-7706 - e-mail: s-mudget@yahoo.com) caught and released 16 bass up to 5 1/2 lbs during a half day (Jan. 31, 2004) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

Although it rained most of the morning this couple had some good action and ranked up 16 bass and had lots more on that got off.
Photo (bottom right) shows the size of the wild shiner a 4 lb. bass tried to eat.

6 1/2 lb. Trophy Bass
January 17, 2004

Florida bass fishing anglers John and his 12 year-old son Johnny Masterfield (Windermere, FL - ph: 407-654-7072 - e-mail: jmagrc78@aol.com) caught and released 15 bass up to 6 1/2 lbs during 2 half days (Jan. 17 & 18, 2004) of wild shiner fishing with Ron's Guide Service. They also hunter for wild boar on the morning of January 17th. John and his son each bagged a wild hog during their morning of hunting. They fished the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

This Special Rate of only $250.00 is for 2 person and includes: 2 (four hour) half days of fishing, 1 night of motel lodging free of charge, 6 doz. wild shiners free of charge, USCG licensed guide, bass boat, fuel and tackle.
