Shiner Bass Fishing Report:
May
2003
Florida
bass fishing reports for each month of the 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000,
1999 and 1998 calendar years that describe the amount and size
of bass caught, the Florida shiner and artificial lure fishing
techniques used by guides to catch them, the areas of Lake Okeechobee
that produced the best bass fishing action, and other bass fishing
information is contained in our Florida bass fishing reports.
To ensure validity
the angler's name, address,
city, state, phone number, e-mail
address, date and year the
party fished is also included in every fishing report.
Windy
conditions have hamper fishing some what. There are bass everywhere
now on Lake Okeechobee. The Artificial worm fishing has been excellent.
Top water fishing is good and getting better by the day. My guide
parties are averaging around 20 or more bass per day now that
are mostly caught on plastic worms rigged wacky style. Shiners
are working only if they are small. Outlook from now on is excellent.

Captain
Ron-
WOW!!!!
What an incredible day and a half of fishing!!! 40 large mouths
caught on shiners and "crazy-hooked" rubber worms.
I think even Red Dog was amazed at the action (not to mention
the guys in the bass tournament who were lusting after your famous
fishing hole). Any way you could send that kind of action up
to New York? We'll see you again in a couple months. Next time
the honey buns are on Red Dog!
Best regards,
Frank, Kevin
& Todd
